This was a show-car that evolved from the XNR show-car. It was never produced. It is a shame that the rear end and rear-deck design did not find its way into a production car...it is fantastic, reminiscent of early Lamborghinis and Maseratis. Considering the clumsiness of the rest of the design, it is a complete anomaly.






 

The Asimmetrica was a show-car that evolved from the Plymouth XNR.

Designed by Chrysler Corporation, built by Ghia of Italy. This is the only one ever made to this design. It was fully restored in the early 1990’s and has been displayed in a California Museum since then. Red exterior with red engine. Tan interior, trunk and Convertible top.
