ALFA ROMEO 33 COUPE - Дизайнер L. Fioravanti

Heavily influenced by the Ferrari 250 - P5, the Pininfarina Alfa Romeo coupé prototype, on a Type 33 sports car chassis, in contrast to the Ferrari P6 which resulted in the BB (Boxer Berlinetta), returned to the concept of a concave front, ovoid rear wings, "gull-wing" doors and the transparent roof going right to the back of the car. The engine, as on the P5/6 prototype, is mounted in the middle of the car.

A year on from the Carabo and P33 Roadster, two more Stradale-based concept cars were unveiled at the 1969 Turin Salon. Pininfarina’s second design was an attention-grabbing pale yellow Coupe with hydraulic gullwing doors and pop-up headlights. The cockpit was trimmed with beige carpet, brown leather and tartan seat centres. However, the P33 Coupe broke no new ground in terms of its styling and if anything it was among the last really curvaceous supercar concepts before wedge shapes took over.
