Biga was on display in the 1992 Turin Exhibition and Giugiaro explained the underlying approach: a miniature car about 2 meters long, one and a half meters tall with access from the rear door and hybrid traction (electric with a small diesel engine); not merely a “city car”, rather a “city own car” which the city administration or other body can make available to the general public; the “city own car” project includes dedicated parking spaces, rentals on a hourly basis and payment by credit card.
Большое в маленьком: лицом вперед сидит только водитель, остальные три пассажира — по стенкам, как в маршрутке. Через единственную дверь во весь задний борт в салон можно было въехать даже на кресле-каталке. Привод — электрический, с питанием от дизель-генератора.
