A fine car made even finer
Рекламная кампания Понтиака 1947 года "A fine car made finer", в 1948 году плавно эволюционировала в "A fine car made even finer".

The Pontiac line for 1948 performed strongly in the post war car market. A total of 245,419 Torpedos and Streamliners were produced, giving the division claim to a fifth rank in industry. The number of Pontiac dealers increased, passing the 4,000 level for the first time in 18 years.

A new grille had four horizontal bars intersected by nine vertical shafts. The shorter top bar was actually a ‘PONTIAC’ nameplate.

The cheapest Pontiac of the year were the Torpedo three-passenger Business Coupes ($1,500 for a six-cylinder, $48 more for an eight-cylinder).
