Concept painting for Credit Subscription Commuter Cars, originally designed for Philips and published in Playboy magazine (1970). From Syd Mead's book Sentinel. - The idea behind the design was a plan, drawn up in cooperation with the Dutch government, to make a fleet of small vehicles available to the public within the three-canal perimeter of Central Amsterdam, on a credit-subscription basis.
