Code name: “Geneva”, now called by the initials of its owner who will have them replaced on the doors, as was done back in the 30’s.

Example of a two-passenger coupé equipped with Alfa Romeo’s rear traction mechanics distinguished with tough lines and volume passages coming from the traditional Milanese coachwork.

The hood presents a second reading of the frontal at prow, typical of the Castagna realizations by the end of the 30’s. Drawned by the cuts and ribs of the bodywork, the spaces, where underneath a semichromed plexiglas are positioned powerful and ultimate generation led headlights.


Eight years ago Gioacchino Acampora and Uberto Pietra revived the name of the famous Carrozzeria Castagna by presenting an unusual Alfa Romeo 75-based prototype in Geneva after purchasing the right to the historical name.

After a quiet period Acampora bounced back at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show with new and reworked concepts.

The G.C. is a two-door, two-seater custom-body based on Alfa Romeo chassis with rear wheel drive. The car is a sporting two door coupé on a rear wheel drive Alfa Romeo chassis. It will be fitted with Alfa’s 3.2-litre V6, offering 260bhp @ 6,600rpm, and Selespeed gearbox. The G.C. is 4168mm long, 1728mm wide, 1280mm high and with a wheelbase of 2513mm.

Following the Carrozzeria Castagna tradition, the lines are sharp and they underline the volume treatment. The prow frontal: a typical Castagna emblem of the 1930’s. Among the line cuts of the body, the new LED main-beams allow the coachbuilder to offer new lines. It sits on 245/40 tyres at the front with 275/35 tyres at the rear.

Nowadays Castagna offer to the owner a direct relationship with his car. Through a wrist whatch, the car recognises the owner and opens its door. The leather trim colour is related to the exterior.

Обещают поставить на машину двигатель 3,2 л V6 мощностью 260 л.с. при 6000 об./мин.
