The Vapour GT is a study of an extreme supercar created by Swedish design studio Gray Design that could be custom built is a limited series.
Шведская дизайн-студия Gray Design, знакомая нам по уйме улетных концептов (не только автомобилей, но и, к примеру, реактивной яхты), представила новый и весьма занятный проект — фантастический во всех смыслах Vapour GT, который вскоре можно будет увидеть на экранах ваших "дрюней" и айфонов.
Это потому, что он появится в некой новой игрушке. Но для нас сумасшедшая "открывашка" примечательна не этим — двухместный Vapour GT вполне может стать реальным. О да, разработчики вполне готовы заняться его реальной версией — нужен лишь богатенький заказчик.
Не знаем, каким бы стал этот концепт в реале, но в виртуальном мире расклад следующий: основа в виде
гоночного Caterham SP/300.R, карбоновая конструкция и двухлитровый Ford Duratec с порядка 300 л.с. Еще из цифр — менее 900 кг массы и 3 с небольшим секунды на разгон 0-100 км/ч. А что, не такая уж и фантастика — надеемся, кто-нибудь закажет себе настоящий Vapour GT.

The Vapour GT is a stunning piece of automotive design from Gray Design that is created to appeal to the most radical automotive enthusiasts. There is nothing modest about the styling, with every surface and detail screaming for attention, a flurry of wind sculpted edges and fury. It was created for the Zeus Twelve brand and in keeping in line with current trends, will feature in it’s own racing game that will be released on iPhone and Android platforms.
Heavy Breather
The open design features strengthened glass aerofoils at the front and rear of the car as well as appearing in the side intakes and cockpit. The heavily breathing, lightweight 2.0-litre Supercharged Ford Duratec engine gets plenty of aspiration through the enormous air intakes at the front of the car as well as the scoops above the drivers head.

The lightweight carbon fiber construction based on the
Caterham SP 300 R racing chassis means that with a curb weight of under 900kg, the Vapour GT can theoretically reach 60 mph in under 3.2 seconds.
Vapourware?
What currently looks like vapourware is currently being presented to clients around the globe, and if in the rare event that an order is placed, the Vapour GT will be custom built by our team of automotive experts who have been involved in the development of the Bugatti Veyron and other extreme builds to guarantee that the driving experience will match the visual impact of the car.
