IAD (International Automotive Design), a UK based company founded in the 1970’s, first unveiled the Venus concept car at the 1989 Tokyo Motor Show.
For 1990 IAD revealed a working prototype of the Venus which used a Lotus Elite drive-train transplanted into a unique body.

One of the more unusual features of the IAD Venus, apart from its shape, were the wheel coverings which almost entirely encased the wheels.

Hi, can any one tell me where it is now (1989, Venus)? Who designed it and how I contact anyone concerned with building it. Alternativly, do you know of a press pack from its launch? Don, segga55@hotmail.com .

IAD went bust end 90s start 00 ?
Michael Ani is the Venus designer ( ex RCA) , worked for SEAT begining of the 2000 years , but have no idea where he is now.
Try David Ancona at SEAT design Barcelona. He might know.
Patrick. ( ex IAD)
