Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the Turbo S20 concept celebrates Sbarro's Design School 20th anniversary. Among the main features are a V8 central engine and wing doors.
Each year France’s Espera Sbarro design school rolls out some manner of supercar concept for the journo set to ogle. Last year it was the Diva. This year, it’s the Turbo S20 Concept 2007. It’s a collaboration with the automotive TV show, "Turbo," which airs on channel M6 in France. Twenty students took just 120 days to create the concept, which is powered by a 5.0-liter Mercedes V8 and uses parts from Fiat and Smart models.


Знаменитое швейцарское тюнинг-ателье, а одновременно и дизайн-школа Франческо Сбарро продолжает ломать устоявшиеся стереотипы в автомобильной инженерии. Над новым прототипом гоночного родстера трудились 20 студентов на протяжении всего 120 дней! И получилось вполне не дурно, родстер полностью сделанный из карбона с необычными дверьми и столь же не стандартным обликом.

Кроме внешнего вида, в автомобиле поражает очень низкий вес – всего 1120 кг. Поэтому 350-сильному турбированному мотору MB 5.0L V8, установленного перед задней осью, не составляет особого труда разогнать болид до совсем не студенческих скоростей.

Кроме мотора от Мерседеса, в родстере используются элементы отделки и оптика от FIAT Seicento и Smart Roadster.
