Bentley Hood Ornament: ‘Flying B’

Маскот в данном случае полностью оправдывал свое предназначение и был установлен на удачу. Учитывая нынешнее положение дел компании, «В» с крыльями действительно работает.

Bentley is bringing back the ‘Flying B’ bonnet ornament that’s been redesigned for the next century and making its first appearance on the new Flying Spur.

The iconic mascot, which now is electronically deployed from beneath a modern Bentley badge, made its first appearance almost 90 years ago on a 1930 model 8 Litre. Back in those days, the mascot wasn’t a standard fit but an optional feature that was priced at five guineas at the time.
